Congress investigate torture decisions!

This letter is has been retired and can only be searched from Older Letters .

This letter was stimulated by Florida Veterans for Common Sense and a
NYTimes article on the growing calls to investigate the decisions to use
torture on ”enemy combatants.” It goes to the President, Vice President,
and Congress.

Dear: _________________

The recent release of CIA documents on the use of torture has created
mounting public support for a nonpartisan commission to investigate the
use of harsh interrogation measures, rendition, and other questionable
methods in the ”war on terror.”

Uncovering the truth behind this shameful chapter in our nation's history will
be an important step in achieving the transparency in government that
President Obama promised, and in enabling us to heal as a nation, learn
from our mistakes and move on.

I urge the White House and Congress to support a nonpartisan commission
 to establish the facts.

Sincerely yours
