Dear: _________________
Financial rescue money should be used responsibly!
The insurance giant AIG received $123 billion in public funds to rescue it
from bankruptcy. Right afterward, AIG rewarded its top executives with a
week-long retreat at a posh California resort costing almost a half million
dollars.
This is a revolting misuse of the taxpayers' money, and it should not be
allowed. Otherwise, other recipients of bailout money will behave just as
irresponsibly.
The government must demand that AIG refund this $444,000 without delay.
Sincerely yours
