End Cuba travel ban now
This letter supports a campaign of the Latin America Working Group
(LAWG). It goes to the House of Representatives.
Dear: Representative
For five years a bipartisan majority in the House has voted to end
restrictions on travel between Cuba and the US, and the House leadership,
behind closed doors, has taken out the amendments ending the restrictions
before sending the appropriations bills to the President.
This undemocratic manipulation must be ended. Cubans and Americans
should be free to visit each other's country.
I urge all Members to demand that Cuba travel amendments be retained in
the final Transportation-Treasury Appropriations bill and sent to the
President to be signed into law.
Sincerely yours
